The second part of the HPTRC is mainly dedicated to the phases between training units, and therefore focuses on regeneration and recovery.
Athletes can take advantage of a modern environment before or after training sessions to meet up and rest. One part is dedicated to relaxation and conviviality, and includes :
- A lounge area with TV, game console, pool table and dart board
- An “open space” with tables for working, doing homework or studying for university.
- A kitchen
- Meeting rooms for quiet discussions with trainers, physiotherapists, etc.
- Rooms for massages and physiotherapy treatments
- Eight individual sleeping cabins
- Other areas equipped with high-tech facilities, supervised by the LIHPS (Luxembourg Institute for High Performance in Sports), allow athletes to prepare for their recovery.
