See you in June for the CEV Queen & King of the Court European Finals at the Coque.
The continent’s best volleyball players will compete for the second edition of the CEV Queen & King of the Court European finals.
The CEV has for the very first time with the Luxembourgish Volleyball Federation (FLVB) to deliver another exciting Beach Volleyball competition of the finest quality.
Queen & King of the Court is a beach volleyball variant where the beach volleyball court is divided into a Queen's/King's side and a challenger's side. Points can only be scored on the Queen's/King's side. The game has substantial differences with the regular 2 vs 2 Beach Volleyball, with multiple teams being active simultaneously and playing under time rules in an elimination race:
- 5 teams play in 3 rounds for the title ‘King of the Court’
- First round lasts 15 minutes. Team with least points is out
- Second round lasts 15 minutes. Team with least points is out
- Final round: first team with 15 points is the winner.
Three teams will be representing Luxembourg, so come and cheer them on!
Tickets
The matches can be watched from five different types of seats:
- Skybox (with a maximum of 6 people | located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the stadium)
- ROYAL Skybox (with a maximum of 10 people | located on the 1st floor of the stadium | including food & drinks)
- VIP ticket (an individual ticket for the stadium on the ground floor | including food & drinks)
- Grandstand ticket (individual ticket)
- Wheelchair users (one ticket for the wheelchair user including one accompanying person)
Schedule
The Winner of each pool first round goes directly to maindraw. Number 2,3 go to Qualification Round 2, and number 4 & 5 to play off for last spot in Qualification Round 2.
